I have been developing aprons, washrags,  towels and other products for the kitchen out of some exciting 27″-30″ selvedge linen as well as the new European handwoven toweling linens I just ordered. In the last several months I have developed a relationship with master craftsman, woodworker and metal-smith Greg Hartman. Greg has been carving a  series of mixing spoons, spatulas and platers. He spins out tons of these beautiful metal hooks, pan hangers and other super useful hard materials. Greg’s work is not only artistically crafted but blends nicely with Midwest Textile designs. It’s been a thrill to find a partner who is helping to flesh out a collection of kitchen tools that will be both beautiful and well made.

Where can you buy our work? Right now all orders are being taken by request. I can take requests for Greg Hartman as well as Midwesttextiles (100% of the payment will be paid to Greg). (Thanks to my daughter Nora Grey and friends Anna and Hobbes Wagner for their images in the photos below.)
